While it can be tricky to determine how much to bet in a pot, it’s worth the effort.

A betting interval occurs every round. A player who has the highest poker combination is said to be the first bettor. During this betting interval, the remaining players reveal their hands. If no one else has bet, the player who bet first may check. Then, the next round of betting will occur. The winner of each round is the person with the highest hand. This process will repeat itself many times. There are several rounds of betting, and each round ends with the showdown.
